Our in Shanghai
Delegation of Business Aviation Center "Vnukovo-3" together with VIPPORT and "RusAero" company took part in the annual exhibition AVASE-2015, which took place in mid-April in Shanghai. The delegation was headed by Georgi Sharov (General Director of CJSC "Center of Business Aviation "Vnukovo-3") and Igor Mudrik (General Director of CJSC "VIPPORT"). In terms of exhibition, a series of meetings and negotiations with potential customers of Vnukovo-3 were held. Chinese business operators were especially interested in planning to expand its scope of activities and to include Russia in it.
"Against the background of the real economic and partly political adjustments, we are observing the activity of a number of countries in the Asia-Pacific region, that increasingly pay their attention to Russia. We told in detail about the possibilities of the Moscow complex to serve the business aviation flights "Vnukovo-3" and our subsidiaries, which are present in many cities of our country. We hope that a positive dialogue will soon spill over into real partnerships, and are ready to provide diversified support to companies in different segments"- VIPPORT comments.
Currently, the complex Vnukovo-3 includes a terminal for servicing domestic Russian flights with area of 480 sq.m, built in 2000, and the terminal for international flights with area of 7,000 square meters, opened in November 2006. The capacity of Vnukovo-3 is 60 passengers per hour in the international and 40 passengers per hour in the interior terminal. The airport facility owns hangars to accommodate and maintain business aviation aircrafts, as well as apron equipped with parking for more than 200 aircraft of various types and classes. Jet Aviation company established a specialized service center for maintenance and repair of business aircrafts in Vnukovo-3.
In 2014, 19 437 flights were performed in "Vnukovo-3”, including 3157 by the Russian airlines, 16280 by international flights.
132,648 passengers (67,931 on arrival and 64,717 on departure) were served during the mentioned period. 13,720 flights of international destinations and 5717 domestic flights were performed.
We would like to remind that the largest regional business aviation exhibition Awas-2015 was held in the period from April 14 to 16 in Shanghai (Shanghai Hongqiao Airport). The event organizator was NBAA, Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) and Shanghai Exhibition Center (SEC) traditionally. The organizers have announced that the exhibition has become the largest in the history ever - more than 170 participants and about 40 aircrafts (from Cirrus SR20 to Boeing Business Jet and Airbus ACJ319).
